Hello to anyone who might happen to still be following this account. I'm well aware it's been like 3 years of complete radio silence, and I'd like to apologize for that. Let me explain what's been going on:

• For starters, I was at a bit of a rough spot emotionally during a good chunk of '22, and kinda felt like the whole "artist on the internet" shtick was too taxing on my mental and not worth it. Ended up getting rid of the old Twitter acc in a moment of weakness, something that was probably unnecessary. But we ball.
• That racing game I was working on? Didn't exactly pan out the way I wanted. I had the wrong mindset and work ethic towards that project, and I kept running into hurdles with implementing the stuff I wanted to do. Wrong place, wrong time. Still, I don't regret attempting it, and thanks to it I now have a better idea how to tackle any further projects. Plus, I learned new stuff about lowpoly modelling that I now use on the regular.
• In light of all this, I decided to focus fully on my studies for a while, up until the summer of '24. Everything went alright and I soaked up as much as I could. Now I kinda sorta know my way around setting up a Linux server from the ground up and run web apps on it, but god, does Apache2 SUCK to deal with.
• Generally, I'd say the last few years have also been a useful buffer to reflect on my life choice. Opened up to more people, made a few changes in my life, got to a point where I finally felt I had my own identity and decided to pursue what I truly want.

So what am I doing now? Well, right now I'm studying graphic design, and I've gotten into martial arts stuff and fighting games during all this time, thanks to some friends. Which, of course, encouraged to take on a whole new project with a close friend of mine. What, you thought I was done with gamedev?

For now, this account will be relegated to a dump site of any artwork I come up with, whether it's for this project of ours or just stuff I decide to draw on a whim. You can follow my new Twitter account or my Bluesky for any updates on my projects.
